Hxaro Leadership Institute Give into the commons
Hxaro  /  The Web-Work
The Giving & Belonging Engine

You don't buy in.
You give in.

The Web-Work is how the movement is held — woven from many gifts.

A gift into the commons is not a transaction. It is a thread added to the weave. The return is not money back — it is recognition, belonging, lasting impact, and, for taxpayers, a Section 18A deduction. This is hxaro: the gift that returns, transformed.

The Principle

Many gifts in. One commons. Gifts out again.

Every gift flows into a commons that cannot enrich any individual — by law, the movement's non-profit can only return its surplus to the mission. Your gift cannot be pocketed. It can only be given forward.

From the commons it radiates outward — into bursaries, schools, circles, and knowledge returned home. What comes in as a gift goes out as a gift. The web remembers every thread.

Ways to Give

Every gift is a thread. Add yours.

Give what you can — once, or as a standing thread. Each gift is recognised in your name or held in trust, anonymously, as you choose.

A Single Gift
One-off · any amount

A gift given once into the commons. However small, it is a real thread in the weave.

Named or anonymous · 18A receipt
A Monthly Thread
Recurring · your choosing

A standing gift each month — the steadiest way to hold the web-work and the people in it.

Named or anonymous · 18A receipt
A Patron of the Fire
Major gift · by conversation

For those who wish to carry a school, a circle, or a year of bursaries. Begun with a conversation, not a checkout.

Honoured or anonymous · 18A receipt
A Founding Patron
Founders' circle

For the first to back the movement before the dawn — remembered permanently in the founding weave.

Recognised in perpetuity
Your Choice

Be recognised — or simply do good.

Recognised

For those who wish to be associated with something great — and to lend their name to it. Patrons are honoured on the Gift Ledger, named at gatherings, and woven permanently into the movement's record. Standing earned by giving, not buying.

Anonymous

For those who wish only to do good, unseen. Gifts can be held entirely in trust — no name, no announcement, no trace in public. The /Xam know this giving well: the gift matters, not the giver's glory.

How Giving Works

A clean gift, cleanly structured.

The movement is being established as a registered Non-Profit Company, with PBO and Section 18A approval from SARS. That structure is what keeps your gift safe and your trust well-placed.

This page describes the giving structure as it is being built. Tax-deductibility applies once our PBO and Section 18A registration is finalised. We are not financial or tax advisors; donors should confirm their own position with a registered tax practitioner.

  • A gift, not an investment. You receive no financial return — the return is recognition, belonging, and impact. This is what keeps it lawful and clean.
  • Tax-deductible. Once 18A is in place, gifts are deductible up to 10% of your taxable income, with an official receipt issued.
  • It cannot be pocketed. By law a Non-Profit Company applies all surplus to its mission — never to any individual.
  • Recognised or anonymous — your choice, honoured at every level.
